What is Vent?

Until now, the only effective, economical solution to clean kitchen extract and duct systems has been to manually scrape Fats, Oils & Grease (FOG) from the surface of the duct, using degreasers with potentially harmful chemicals. 

Vent by BIO-CIRCLE is revolutionising the treatment of FOG, by using a combination of cutting-edge equipment, biotechnology and auditing systems. As a results, the Vent system is raising compliance levels to a new industry standard. 

The system offers a proven and continuous kitchen extract cleaning system, as well as year-round complinace in one complete package. The patented biochemical delivery system continually treats the inside of the duct to maintain FOG-free extracts and the highest levels of compliance.

HOW VENT WORKS

How Vent works

VENT provides round the clock protection against the build-up of Fats, Oil and Grease within the kitchen extract system, to ensure compliance all year round.

 

As the VENT system continually treats grease residue on the duct surface, it has the added benefit of reducing adhesion resulting in less grease build up. This significantly lowers the risk of fire, due to the reduction in build-up of grease, exceeding current levels of compliance.

With increased efficiency of the kitchen extraction system, maintenance and repair costs are reduced, alongside the added benefit of carbon filters, ESP and other complimentary treatment systems lifespan are also increased.

VENT also reduces the amount of manual cleaning required, which in turn, reduces the inconvenience and cost of kitchen down-time.

The power of bioremediation

VENT Liquid is a label-free cleaner for removing contaminants from kitchen exhaust and ventilation systems. The liquid was specially developed for use in our VENT spray system.

 

The enzymes it contains bind contaminants such as oils, grease, and soot and break them down into free-flowing degradation products. These can then be easily removed from the duct system via grease collection channels.

The enzymes used are completely biodegradable. As biocatalysts, they are highly effective, do not wear out, and, from an environmental perspective, eliminate the need for a variety of cleaning agents such as surfactants, solvents, and complexing agents.

 

The service life of motors, heat exchangers, and ducts is significantly extended. The VENT Liquid utilises the waste heat from the duct and requires no additional energy input in the form of heat.

Enzymatic cleaning does not affect the material, is food safe and extends the service lives of filters, motors, and heat exchangers, minimising investment, and service costs.

On average, each restaurant will be required to change the fluid only once in-between visits.
