Prevent FOG build-up
High‑volume cooking aerosolises grease which condenses on canopies, ductwork and fans. Left untreated, deposits restrict airflow and create a significant fire risk. Vent treats the grease round the clock.
Reduce costs
Emergency cleans, downtime and call‑outs add up. Planned, proactive control keeps kitchen extract systems within safe thresholds and protects margins.
Simplify compliance
Insurers and auditors increasingly expect records showing how you control grease risk between deep cleans. VENT provides clear scheduling and logs.

What is Vent?
Until now, the only effective, economical solution to clean kitchen extract and duct systems has been to manually scrape Fats, Oils & Grease (FOG) from the surface of the duct, using degreasers with potentially harmful chemicals.

Vent by BIO-CIRCLE is revolutionising the treatment of FOG, by using a combination of cutting-edge equipment, biotechnology and auditing systems. As a results, the Vent system is raising compliance levels to a new industry standard.

The system offers a proven and continuous kitchen extract cleaning system, as well as year-round complinace in one complete package. The patented biochemical delivery system continually treats the inside of the duct to maintain FOG-free extracts and the highest levels of compliance.

How Vent works
VENT provides round the clock protection against the build-up of Fats, Oil and Grease within the kitchen extract system, to ensure compliance all year round.
As the VENT system continually treats grease residue on the duct surface, it has the added benefit of reducing adhesion resulting in less grease build up. This significantly lowers the risk of fire, due to the reduction in build-up of grease, exceeding current levels of compliance.

With increased efficiency of the kitchen extraction system, maintenance and repair costs are reduced, alongside the added benefit of carbon filters, ESP and other complimentary treatment systems lifespan are also increased.

VENT also reduces the amount of manual cleaning required, which in turn, reduces the inconvenience and cost of kitchen down-time.

Benefits of Vent
INCREASED COMPLIANCE
The Vent system works around the clock to stop FOG build-up before it starts, keeping ducts cleaner for longer and helping sites achieve the highest levels of compliance with ease. Vent is NSF certified and requires no labelling under the CLP Regulations.

Some of the main legislative requirements:
Workplace Regulations 1992 - "Employer must provide effective and suitable ventilation in the workplace" and "the workplace & cleaning equipment must be cleaned as appropriate."

Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order 2005 - Introduced the role of the "responsible person," risk assessment and fire safety arrangements
REDUCTION IN BAD SMELLS & ODOURS
By reducing the build-up of FOG, the Vent system minimises the odours that typically come with it, resulting in fewer disruptions for your customers, staff, and neighbours. Vent is also dermatologically tested.
REDUCTION IN LONG TERM & HIDDEN COSTS
Do you know the true cost of your current cleaning regime? Vent enhances the efficiency of kitchen extraction systems, lowering maintenance and repair costs while extending the lifespan of carbon filters, ESP, filters and other related extraction machinery. Compliance and insurance costs are also significantly reduced.
IMPROVED FIRE SAFETY
Did you know, there is at least one fire a day in London caused by excessive grease buildup in commercial kitchens?* The Vent system continuously cleans your extract system, cutting fire risk by preventing the FOG build-up that fuels dangerous flare-ups.

LOGISTICAL
Ductwork access
Night cleaning
Agreement from surrounding businesses
ADMINISTRATIVE
Staff resource
Staff overtime
Staff training
Staff absence
OPERATIONAL
Lost revenue during closure

"Having the Vent system keeping our ducts and extracts completely free from grease build-up has been a game-changer. No more disruption for duct cleaning and we've saved in insurance & compliance costs too."

The power of bioremediation
VENT Liquid is a label-free cleaner for removing contaminants from kitchen exhaust and ventilation systems. The liquid was specially developed for use in our VENT spray system.
The enzymes it contains bind contaminants such as oils, grease, and soot and break them down into free-flowing degradation products. These can then be easily removed from the duct system via grease collection channels.

The enzymes used are completely biodegradable. As biocatalysts, they are highly effective, do not wear out, and, from an environmental perspective, eliminate the need for a variety of cleaning agents such as surfactants, solvents, and complexing agents.
The service life of motors, heat exchangers, and ducts is significantly extended. The VENT Liquid utilises the waste heat from the duct and requires no additional energy input in the form of heat.

Enzymatic cleaning does not affect the material, is food safe and extends the service lives of filters, motors, and heat exchangers, minimising investment, and service costs.

On average, each restaurant will be required to change the fluid only once in-between visits.
NEW! Vent Foam

VENT Foaming Canopy & Ducting Cleaner is a sustainable alternative to aggressive chemical cleaning agents. It is a food-safe, VOC-free, caustic-free and odour-free cleaning foam designed for use in and around food-processing areas.
Ready to use and environmentally friendly, it effectively removes grease, fats and stubborn residues without leaving noticeable odours, visible residue or taint on surfaces.
Its slightly viscous foaming formula clings to vertical and overhead surfaces, allowing a brief dwell time to break down contaminants before wiping with a clean damp cloth or rinsing thoroughly with potable water.
Depending on the level of contamination, apply neat or dilute 1:1. Supplied in 2 x 5-litre containers. Price on application, subject to quantity. Delivery charged separately.
