Electrochemical Weld Seam Cleaning for Stainless Steel

GREENOX is a safe and effective alternative to traditional pickling pastes for cleaning weld seams on stainless steel. The patented electrochemical system removes heat tint and discoloration from TIG, MIG, and spot welds while restoring the material’s natural corrosion resistance.

During the cleaning process, a uniform and durable chromium oxide layer forms on the stainless steel surface, helping protect it against future corrosion. An integrated output regulator allows precise control, ensuring excellent results even on sensitive surfaces while effectively removing oxide and smoke residues.

GREENOX is available in two versions and provides a fast, safe, and economical solution for stainless steel passivation - without the hazards associated with toxic pickling chemicals.

NOZZLE PROTECTION

A clean nozzle is half the battle!

Spatter build-up inside and around the nozzle can disrupt the flow of shielding gas. When gas coverage becomes uneven, air can enter the weld zone, leading to defects such as:

- Porosity
- Oxidation
- Weak or inconsistent weld seams

A clean nozzle ensures the shielding gas flows evenly around the arc, protecting the weld pool throughout the process. A clean welding nozzle ensures proper shielding gas coverage, stable arc conditions, and consistent weld quality.
